It starts with a conversation about how you wear your hair day to day, how much time you actually spend on it in the morning, and what you wish it did on its own. From there your stylist shapes the cut around your face, your hair’s natural texture, and the way it falls when it dries.
The $35 service includes a wash at the basin, the cut itself, and a blow-dry finish so you leave with hair that is styled, not just trimmed. You see exactly how the shape moves and sits before you walk out the door, which makes it easier to recreate at home.
You will start with a few minutes of talking through what you want and what your hair is like, then move to the basin for a wash. The cut is done section by section, usually checked again once your hair is roughly dry since hair sits differently wet and dry. We finish with a blow-dry and a quick walk-through of how to get the same result at home.
Our stylists were trained on classic cutting structure, so the shape holds as it grows rather than going shapeless after two weeks.
Wavy, fine, thick, or curly hair each behave differently, and the cut is adjusted to work with yours instead of against it.
If a look you bring in will not suit your hair type or upkeep, we will tell you and suggest something close that will.

The cut that looks effortless on someone else often depends on hair you cannot see in a photo. Density, how your hair grows at the crown, whether it has a cowlick, and how much wave sits in it all decide whether a blunt bob or long layers will actually behave. Part of the appointment is reading those things and being straight with you about what your hair will and will not do.
We also talk about maintenance honestly. A heavily layered cut can look beautiful fresh out of the chair but need daily styling to stay that way. If your mornings are short, we lean toward shapes that dry well on their own and grow out softly.
Yes, photos help a lot. They show us the shape you are drawn to, and we will tell you honestly how close we can get it on your hair type.
It is included in the $35. You leave fully styled, not damp.
For most styles, every six to eight weeks keeps the shape clean. Shorter, precise cuts may want a trim a little sooner.
